Adventures in Ponyville

Sunset Shimmer returns to Equestria, joined by five girls from Canterlot High--now ponies.
(this counts as an April Fools’ Day post because those aren’t exactly ponies I usually post here)
From July 2011 through May 2013 I ran a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic webcomic called Hoofstuck. It was part image+part text, was told partially through reader interaction, included an immense cast and similarly immense plot, and eventually collapsed under its own weight. If you read Hoofstuck while it was still running, you may be interested to learn I’ve just posted a… recap? precap? of how the rest of the story would have gone had I seen it through. Alternatively, if you’ve got some hours to kill, you can read all 550+ pages from the beginning.
Above, Flower Child discovers a few of Hoofstuck’s numerous side characters bumming around in Cloudsdale, now that they don’t have anywhere to give them work. Parasol (middle left) is a background pony from the show, and Dizzy Pinwheel (upper right) is from a MAD TV episode, and Lily Blossom (center) is a toyline character, and Ember (middle right) is sort of from G1, but that doesn’t mean anyone else is actually using them for anything. :(

Oh no! A nametag mixup at Phantasmacon! Silly Capricorn.
Now that I have your attention, do you have a reddit account? You see, the Friendship is Magic Wiki has given everyone’s favorite beret-wearing dimensional expatriate the placeholder name “Cecilia.” Which is a lovely name for a real human, but doesn’t make as much sense in a school with students named Flash Sentry and Rainbow Dash. So would you mind terribly visiting this reddit thread and casting a vote? You don’t have to vote for “Watermelody” if you really don’t want to, but her name is honestly one of the more consistently used names for background humans out there, and it would be good to get that reflected on the wiki.
