Spring Forward #6
And so Merry May learns one of life’s great lessons: if you can’t have a massive springtime bisexual lovefest, at least you can sit around and play video games.
Final reminder: Lyrock’s name is up for vote for the MLP Wiki. The poll will probably close in a day or two, and currently “Cherry Crash” is winning, though if even one percent of you vote for Lyrock that can change. Just two more polls to go after this one.
Next storyline will probably be preceded by some design posts. I’m in a better position to work on this tumblr now than I have been over the last couple months, but there are some changes to my art pipeline I’d like to try to make first, so we’ll see how this goes.
Spring Forward #5
Lyrock is fed up with this nonsense! Good for her.
Hey, speaking of, remember that Reddit account I’ve been encouraging you to have? Now you can use it to vote on Lyrock’s name on the MLP wiki! The alternate proposal is “Cherry Crash,” which is actually a pretty good pony name, but there are already five other ponies from the show and/or toys with cherry cutie marks named “Cherry” something or other. Do we really need a sixth? If you’ve got an opinion, click that link and see how things turn out.
Spring Forward #4
Figured Watermelody needed some acting buddies, so now she gets to star in an all-earth-pony production of the Hearth’s Warming Eve fable! It’s so incredibly avant garde. Big guy on her left is Richard the Hooven-Hearted, whom you may remember from the Simple Ways opening. Private Pansy is played by season 4 regular backgrounder Luckette, who Sweetie Belle seems to think is an theater person of some sort. If that’s wrong, oh well; she’s super cute, and what else really matters?
(Yep, still on this song…)
Extraneous factors have made it impossible to get the next page out today like I’d hoped, but since we’re in Merry May mode right now, here’s an older pic of mine that’s pretty on-topic…
Mother of Invention #5
Whew! Made it through one storyline on a triweekly update schedule… shall we see if I can do it again? (Probably not. Next couple weekends are gonna be kinda hectic.) Everything turned out a bit more monologuey than I was expecting, but that won’t always be true. And hey, lots of pink ponies! You know you love the pink ponies.
